Worms : Revolution is an upcoming strategy game developed by Team17 artillery and is part of the Worms series . It will be released on Playstation 3 , Windows via Steam and Xbox 360 in October 2012. Like the previous games in the series, the game is 2D and turns, but it represents a completely new 3D engine. There will be two single players and multiplayer modes with up to four players online or local hotseat . The game will feature a completely new engine .
